Salve a tutti!

Capisco abbastanza l'italiano per leggere questo website e forum, ma non lo scrivo abbastanza bene; dunque preferisco scrivere il seguito di questo messaggio in inglese (oppure posso anche in Francese, come preferite! )

So, I'm from Paris, I ride a Suzuki SV 650 mainly for short or long trips (I did à 3000+ km trip accross France this summer) as well a good old Honda CG 125 for my daily commuting.

I've always been very interested by all the safety gears dedicated to morcycle riding, but I never found any good website dedicated to this subjet... until a few days ago when I found this one!

Hopefully I can read italian (looks like the years I spent studying it at school weren't that useless, in the end Laughing out loud), so I've already red most of the articles availables...

I hope you will continue this very good and interesting work, and maybe would I be able to help in a way or another...
for example I must have somewhere a french magazine (Moto Magazine) with back protector tests (including impacts measurements), if you want to add it to those already available on the "comparative fra paraschenia" article.

I've also read the article about the Ixon gloves, which you say are the first homologated ones you can find... I believe that another french brand, Furygan, is sold in italy and they also have homologated gloves (model FRG 10). I personally own a pair of them and they really look strong and safe too!

I think that's all for today... and don't hesitate to reply in italian, I can understand it Wink

Welcome!

Gamerfou, welcome!

You will definitely get answers in Italian, as this is an Italian forum. But, first off, since you're the first non-italian member (I guess), English it is. Smile

Now, I am starting to seriously think an English version of motosicurezza.com could be useful to many, all over EU and beyond. Maybe Conny and Alax will agree? Smile

Good morning Gamerfou, you

Good morning Gamerfou, you are very welcome!
It is better if you write in english: I can not speak french (if you prefer you can speak german Tongue).
Anyway I would be pleased to read the french back protector' test.
The furygan you have mentioned are listed in "elenco abbigliamento omologato" http://www.motosicurezza.com/abbigliamento-moto-omologato

For Taym: I am planning to do an english (and french, and czech etc.) version too. But I have no time. If you have time, just do it (contact me via mail for details Wink) Laughing out loud

the back protectors test is

the back protectors test is available here : http://img10.imageshack.us/gal.php?g=dsc01825hfb.jpg
it includes tests for chest protectors too.

Of course it's in french, but all the measurements are summarized on the last page and if you need translation for some part, just ask Wink

If I can help in any way for a french version of the site, let me know!

Gamerfou quale è il nome della rivista?

Per tutti gli altri sembra in tutto e per tutto la versione francese di Insella...

risultati abbastanza discordanti dai soliti, con exploit di BMW (che si conferma)... apriamo un topic per questo test?

It's from "Moto Magazine",

It's from "Moto Magazine", the magazine from the FFMC (Federation Francaise des Motards en Colère / Federazione Francese dei Motociclisti Arrabbiati) which is our most famous independant riders organization.
It's the only magazine here that really "scientifically" test the equipments and not just copy/paste the informations from the manufacturer.

Their testing procedure is described on page 86 : they brought the protectors to an independent laboratory (the IFTH, Institut Francais du Textile et de l'Habillement), who fulfilled the tests according to the official EN 1621-2 protocol.
